We at the Fed recognise the importance of having the information and skills to be able to make a difference. Without the tools to hand it is difficult for your voice to be heard.

Through our Lottery project ‘Tenant for tenants – a voice for all’ we have and will be organising training and information giving sessions for tenants. See this section for updates on what is available.

In addition we will be glad to come down and work with your group if you need assistance or if you are looking to set up a new group we will be happy to help you set one up.

Wolverhampton Homes also provides training for tenants from time to time. Contact the Community Participation Team via or via their call centre Homes Direct on 01902 55 6789 or email to find out what they have to offer.

The Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council also provides free training for groups go to to find out more. They have a project Firm Foundations which is a good practice tool kit for voluntary and community organisations. This gives a guide to key areas of organisational development. There are also templates for policies and procedures for groups that can be downloaded.
