Tenants in control

Under regulations lanlords must offer tenants a wide range of opportunities to take greater control of services they receive.  They may do this via community cashback or tenant cashback or tenant management.

Community cashback is a new option for tenants groups to take over local services with agreement from the landlord.  Grants are available to look at this.  Tenant cashback is a scheme for tenants to receive monies to organise their own repairs. Landlords can decide on whether they wish to offer this. Tenant management is for groups to take over some or all of the housing management services to their estate under the right to Manage regulations.
