Local review of anti-social behaviour

Wolverhampton Homes (WHs) in partnership with the City Council are carrying out a review into how anti-social behaviour (ASB) is managed by both organisations within the City.

At present WHs and the tenant management organisations are responsible for responding to ASB that involve Council tenants or Council properties, the Housing Associations deal with ASB in their properties and the Council's ASB unit responds to all other instances of ASB that takes place in Wolverhampton.

Both WHs and the Council do collaborate and work in partnership, however consultation is at present taking place with residents, partners, staff of the Council and WHs to seek their views on how the service can be delivered more effectively.  Visits are being made to other organisations to see how ASB is managed elsewhere and a review of policies, procedures and resources is being undertaken.  A full report is due later this year.
